Hi, I’m Stormy-Raye Beverlin (they/them) a former theology student who was in school to be a pastor until a professor used the pulpit to paint the LGBTQIA+ community as inherently harmful.

I couldn’t stay. But I kept the belief that brought me there: that coming home to your body is sacred. That being witnessed, naked, whole, and worthy is one of the most healing things a human being can do.

I built Intimate Storms for the survivors, the thrivers. The queer humans told their love was a sin. The ones whose bodies have been policed, taken, or made to feel like something to apologize for.

You don’t have to be healed to walk through this door. You just have to show up.

And now, I’m adding cinema. Because some healing deserves to move.
